Powerhouse X
Located at 441 E Pender St in Vancouver, BC, the first Powerhouse X project began as a vacant lot and has since received strong support from the City of Vancouver. Throughout the approval process, several requirements such as sun-shadow, parking, and other conditions, were streamlined, enabling the team to complete rezoning within 7–10 months while progressing the development permit application in parallel. From land acquisition to building permit issuance, the project can be completed in as little as 18 months.
Moving forward, upcoming POWERHOUSE X projects will adopt a proven modular steel-structure system that can reduce construction time by more than 50%.
